Agenda:

Update planners with Agenda and HW

  1. Ch 13 Vocabulary Groups
    1. Teacher will make 5 groups of 4 people.
        1. Each group will work together to create original sentences and images for all 10 vocabulary words on the second page of the handout. (Don't worry about the word family page and the grammar on the last page)
        2. Each sentence must be a SHOWING sentence, meaning the definition of the word is suggested or understood by the context clues in the sentence.
        3. Teacher will call on students to share a sentence on the elmo or board, students should circle the vocabulary word and underline any words that give the context clues to the meaning.
        4. Class will help correct grammar and usage mistakes.
        5. If time, do a second round of sentences : )
